Heat soak from the OEM water to air system reduces timing and robs horsepower. This upgrade is a direct replacement and designed as a drop in unit. We saw the stock temps rise to 145 150 degrees f during dyno runs and 1 4 mile passes. With the upgrade, we are within 5 10 degrees of ambient during our tests. We logged a 40 degree drop in intake air temps and increase of 40% capacity
