More than that, it's a lovely piece of craftsmanship and a great piece of design. Shaped like a loaf of bread (and cast from a real loaf), it is made in Stoke on Trent from slip cast earthernware. It can hold a substantial chunk of butter (more than half a pound), and keep it cool and fresh and free from dust or cats or anything else. Designed by Irish designer Katy West. Dimensions:
