Santa Teresa 1796 Ron Antiguo de Solera Vermont A staple of Caribbean culture40% abv. Venezuela. Aged solera style in French Limousin Oak by a Hacienda over 200 years old. Smells of funky malt, green pepper and beer foam. A chalky sort of mineral quality to the aroma, almost chemical. This one is all about the taste. Rich, dancing across the palate with a coffee note. Chewy like a French press. Vanilla abounds. I keep coming back to how funky and almost mushroomy the nose is. Woodsy. Medium sweet and earthy. ch
