Pete Hogan, Lady Miranda Herbs containers or small potsA classic river Liffey scene from the 1980s, when Guinness was shipped from its brewery on St James's Gate to the UK on special 'Guinness ships'. The Lady Miranda was one of these ships. In the background stands the old 'Gasometer'. Both these features of day to day Dublin life are sadly no longer with us. Pete Hogan is a Dublin artist whose street scenes and architectural drawings have documented Dublin life and architecture for almost four decades.
