In 1926 he bought the parcel of Pommard 1er Cru "los des Arvelets." In 1951, his son Bernard took over part of the Domaine and married a woman from Meursault, who brought with her the appellation "Les Charmes." Together they bought and replanted "Les Clos de lErmitage" in Beaune as well as diverse
