Though generally the Jazzette outfits traditionally with an 12x18 bass drum, Ludwig did offer custom sizes and the 14x18 bass drum was one of those offerings at the time. The lugs and other hardware are in great shape showing very little signs of wear. This kit sings, and sounds wonderful at higher "bop" tunings.
