Arran Barrel Reserve Scotch Whisky Bean Nut Cream - Distillation: pot- and columnBarrel Reserve is Arran's entry point into the house style, introduced with the distillery's 2020 rebrand as a replacement for the old Lochranza Reserve. It's matured entirely in first fill ex bourbon American oak no sherry, no wine finish vatted from casks generally around seven to eight years old alongside some older stock, bottled at 43% ABV with natural color. That bourbon only approach is deliberate: it's the clearest look at Arran's unpeated
