This is a fantastic, complete example of a late 19th to early 20th century Shako, as worn by members of the Royal Netherlands Army. The shako itself is very similar in design to the American Pattern 1872 shakos. This example is of sturdy construction with a leather banding around the crown. This fine example dates from the end of the 19th century to the early 20th century. Cap is in good condition for being well over
