No doubt he was a British Officer who served in the Crimean War of 1854/1855 and on through the following Great Sepoy Rebellion of 1857/1859 but with minimal internet research we have not located him

This is a rare genuine Reichsbahn green cotton arm band single piece construction with minor wear. It is marked with the NSDAP Reichsadler (Party Eagle) over Deutsch Reichsbahn (German National Railway). There is also a very nice Reichsbahn inspection stamp to the viewers left of the eagle.
