The plating however has worn away except on the top area protected by the cross guard

and the inner bottle can be removed for inspection

The helmet has been expertly restored, with the liner and chinstrap both being modern reproductions. The helmet net and its scrim are also reproduction, added for display. The shell is original, but all other pieces are added. Due to the original liner being gone, we cant tell who produced this
