The left side of the helmet features an aged golden yellow Heer Army decal

All of of the tough cleaning work has been done but after a thorough inspection we discovered that these were not quite up to our Grade 1 standards

plus three rows of goldgelb (Gold-Yellow) color piping for the flight branch (Waffenfarbe) around the circumference

There are original property department stamps on the inside of the shell, and the outside was painted with Naval Beach Battalion marking on the front. The shell itself appears to be an original M1 shell, but lack of visible markings makes it difficult to determine manufacturer. The helmet was reconditioned for film use, fitted
