The fabric is a fine Egyptian cotton that was processed in Switzerland exclusively for Marghab. Mrs. Marghab wanted a fabric that would have the appearance of organdy, without its flaws, so it could be properly embroidered and appliqued. The fabric was then given the name "Marghandie."
