US M1878 Canteen with a tan canvas cover with a very clear U. S. stencil on the front, and F. A. M painted on the back, in very good condition. The canteen is complete except for the original cork stopper, which is missing, though the securing chain is still attached to the canteen body. It also has the proper pattern canteen canvas strap, of the later adjustable style with snap hooks. No denting to the body, though
