This rare entrenching tool also comes with a very nice R. I. A. 1909 marked M1905 shovel cover. The cover is also stenciled 2. B. 16, likely for Company B of the 2nd Infantry Regiment, 16th item. The securing strap is also marked R. I. A. 1909, a
