This example was made up for the Rainbow Division Special Liberty Loan Committee. The Rainbow Division, or the 42nd Division, was formed from 27 National Guard units from across the U. S., forming a Rainbow stretching across the country. This poster depicts a bloodied fist holding a knife rising from the sea, with
