A well preserved Heer winter field cap for Enlisted ranks, constructed of white sheepskin. The cap is surrounded by fold down side panels which feature ear and neck flaps fully lined in white wool, with the former meeting at the crown and fastening closed with a single bakelite button when not in use. Pinned onto the peak is a silvered zink insignia consisting of a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile
