This is a very good condition, turn of the century pickelhaube style German Fire helmet, with a boiled leather body, brass front plate (wappen), brass central comb, and brass fittings. Central plate has a starburst with the standard emblem for German Firefighting units. The emblem is encircled with the text GOTT ZUR EHR DEM NACHSTEN ZUR WEHR which translates to "Honor God Defend your neighbor (against fire)." Full
