Lycoris elsiae Sakusui Aphyllanthes Calanthe discolor is a JapaneseLycoris x elsiae 'Sakusui' is a well performing cross of Lycoris aurea and Lycoris radiata var. pumila, from the breeding work of Japan's famed Komoriya Nursery. For us, the stalks arise in very early September, topped soon after with clusters of orange flowers, darker petal centers and lighter edges.
