Germany, Heer. An Officer’s Sabre, Lion’s Head Version, by Alcoso United Republic of The Sharifian Order of Military(Heer Sbel fr Offiziere mit Lwenkopf). A very well preserved Heer Officers dress parade sabre, measuring 101 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 87. 5 cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade which retains factory original sharpening to the tip. A wide fuller runs approximately two thirds of the length of the upper edge of each side of the blade. The reverse ricasso bears a makers mark of ALCOSO, SOLINGEN, for the
