This is a lovely WWII German Kriegsmarine issue winter fur leather hat in the style of a flight helmet. The color is correct for KM issued winter hats. The cap has a double snap securing system on the flaps with an additional fabric strap on both sides to tie over. There is an additional snap to keep the forehead flap in place, which can be unsnapped to allow the fur to warm the forehead. The snaps are PRYM, correct
