An album’s worth of songs were dribbled out on a few Internet forums but a follow up never materialized
Each re-activation of the archive results in a dense and swarming polyphony made up of thousands of short utterances - shorter than any word bearing a meaning - recombined and interwoven into complex textures

JEUGDBRAND - 3x hullo, hullo LP Improvised Morinaga followed Simla to a'3 x hullo, hullo' is the latest work from Jeugdbrand, the duo of Dennis Tyfus and Jeroen Stevens. A collection of fragmented snapshots, with odd phrases and playful remarks colliding, while musical ideas are tossed about with ease. Instead of a clear narrative, it's a series of disconnected sketches emotions shift quickly, laughter turns to tears, and the ride is anything but smooth.
