Their great strength, light weight and complete freedom from corrosion and electrolysis make them the ideal thru hull for use above and below waterline. Forespar recommend a maximum torque setting of 27 Nm (20 lb ft) for Series 250, Series 251 and Series 253 thru hull connectors.
