These are rare excellent condition size small Early WW2 "Arctic Circle" Wolf Fur Mittens. Issued to Army Air Force pilots and crew members for extreme cold condition. During WWII soldiers in the US Army Air Corps flew over the Arctic Circle and where exposed to Beverly cold temperatures. Many were issued a pair of these wolf fur mittens, however the material was expensive and the Army continued to experiment
