In silvered bronze, measuring 40. 2 mm (w) x 47 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally pierced ball suspension, two wreathed sword clasps inscribed "KOREA 1950" and "2 KOREA 1950" affixed to its original ribbon, black felt support with pinback on the reverse, extremely fine. Footnote: The Cross for Freedom and Justice was instituted on July 23, 1951. It was originally awarded for service in the Korean War
