Constructed of silvered magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a mobile swastika overlaid by a sword, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked W. REDO, SAARLAUTERN, measuring 46. 62 mm (w) x 58. 80 mm (h), weighing 16. 4 grams, demonstrating minor surface oxidation, a Type III badge in near extremely fine condition.
